Event Hi Guys and Gals,

Its a great year for us to be celebrating - 10 YEARS OLD!!

You may have heard whisper of our 10 Year Cabaret party that we'll be doing as ONE NIGHT ONLY.

This will be cafe style with food and drink and I'm sure we'll sell out to mostly our friends/families and devout Elaps followers.

However, to plan this event we need to create a list of all those current, present and past members who will be willing to perform or help out on the night.

Can you let me know asap by email, text or on Thursday nights if you can make rthe cabaret night and also if you can perform.

Then, we need a list of your favourite hits from the shows/carnival events and what you'd like to participate in.

Elaps JJ's are already looking at performing a selection of small sketches.

I have made a list of the shows and some ideas from them, now all we need is the performers.

The proceeds for this will be split between Elaps and the Village Hall.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Help us celebrate our great 10 year birthday in style

Event Another date for the diaries playmates, in what is shaping up to be an action-packed summer.

On Friday 22 June NANDA (Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Drama Association) is holding its Annual Dinner and Award Ceremony at Cotgrave Place Golf Club. And this year promises to be an extra-special occasion, as the association is celebrating its sixtieth birthday. The theme will be “The Roaring Forties”, with entertainment based on that era, and there will be a prize awarded for the best (home produced) costume.

Tickets are priced at £21 per person and full details, including menu choices, are available from Madeline, who will be taking bookings from this Thursday 26 April, through to 31 May - which is the closing date. It’s always a fun evening, and we hope to take along a good ELAPS contingent to make our presence felt within the county drama scene.

Event Keyworth dramatic society presents "Rumours", 22nd-24th March at Grange Hall, Radcliffe on Trent.
Having seen barrow perform Excalibur last year, I know it'll be interesting to watch to spot similarities and differences between that and our own production.
Small reminder though, we are rehearsing on 22nd March and 24th March is the pantomime alliance event.

Event This coming saturday, 4th November there are two things going on which you all might consider attending.

1) - An open day at the Nottingham Playhouse.
I myself will be catching the 9:15 bus to get there for 10 O'clock
The event will feature a tour of the facilities and some workshop activities

2) - The table top sale at East Leake Village Hall
Unfortunately as we all know, the Village Hall show was cancelled this year, so as an alternate way to do some fundraising, the village hall is having a bring and buy sale with proceeds going to the hall (which we all know needs funding). Several elaps regulars will be there.

Whatever you choose to do, have a nice day
